right. 18's dont fit my cossie - the wheels fit in the arches no prob but are touching the suspension arm cup.
Am i going to get the same problem if i try 17's?? my car must be lower than standard ride height, as its got Koni adjustables, but the springs are black, and Koni springs are red usually aint they?? the cup is only just above the 15's by a few millimeters. I'm so hacked off now. anyone got any ideas

All you need to do is hit the spring cup up with a hammer about 5mm sounds bad but is nothing TBH. don`t do any thing to the spring it self or the ride etc.. also got konis fitted. if you don`t like the hammer idea fit coil overs.

I got 225/35 18 et35 offset on mine no probs at all no rubbing etc..

Thanks Doo,
I can be such a girl when i dont get my own way! Its frustrating to see i can get 18's on with rolled arches already there to accommodate and then to find my suspension is sitting on top of them.
Are spacers bad news when it comes to fitting wheels tho?

I don`t like useing spacers and i don`t think they would help you anyway it would prob start to rub the archs if you moved the wheels out anymore.

I did not want to do the hammer mod to mine but sounds a lot worse than what it is it is nothing to worry about don`t even show that it been hit just use a rag and hit with a hammer a few times

PS. what alloys you putting on??

5mm spacer will cure the problem. You've probably got et40-45 which is why it's catching
