John - correct the 'ring is about an hour from Köln, but the Moselle is a bit further so another 30 mins - sorry I was stating from where the hotel is.
If you want to stay at the hotel I can arrange a locked garage, also it has a large carpark which is under the watcheful eye of video security. Germans are a very law abiding people (especially in the Eifel and Moselle region with no social problems), and insurance here is very common - people insure absolutely every aspect of their lives. So even if someone crashed into the car on their bicycle, they would give their details for you - I know it's strange compared to the mentality in the UK, but thats what makes living here so much better!
The European Ford meting in Landgraaf is a nice event, but a full day at the Nordschleife is ten times better! Especially in the evening because most people set off home at about 4 so it gets much quieter.
For those wanting a longer mtotrsport oriented holiday, I'd recommend a week around the 2nd to 4th of September - during this time the Nordschleife is open evey evening (evening sessions are always really relaxed and friendly) and on the Sunday it's an all day session (which is absolutely mental, as most of you probably know). During these dates there is the 1000km race - LeMans style prototypes racing day and night - so a barbeque by the track and loads of great motorsport action and beer. Hire a Porsche for the week, and there are attractions for the whole family all within a 1 hour drive - from animal parks, to Alton Towers style parks, good fishin, river cruises, walking and trekking and all that sort of stuff.

I left my cos unlocked over night every night the other month, not by choice the central locking was playing up so if i did lock it i had to send chip through the boot
So just left it unlocked
The ammount of beemers, porkers around though doubt theyd want a shonky saph

John, except for when we came home when you were REALLY pissed (as opposed to just pissed most of the time) and you made me park the fooking thing right next to a water fountain and then you locked it.
So the next morning i had to climb on the fountain and in through the boot, remove the rear seat on the way to get to the doors
COONT!

I'll pop in the hotel this evening and ask for special arrangements - I take it you'll want a balcony.
I'll also ask the price for the holiday apartment, it has 2 double rooms - and you can walk 30m to the hotel for breakfast. It is freshly refurbished last year and is absolutely pukka for a holiday, with a private parking area away from other cars.

fooked it up?
surely not, you must have been drunk to think that
Yeah it was the night of the mental storm where every junction on the way home (About 10) i pulled in, turned round and then came back out onto the main road hanging sideways with you sliding around in the back giggling your tits off.

Although some of those include a couple of times with the vw/bmw lads in the car instead, if you remember you were making me all take them up the road to show them how quick/lairy it was.

I've arranged prices of 20 pounds per person per night - but there are limited spaces! Price includes breakfast buffet (propper European style not just your toast and small packets of jam nonsense).
Sunday is very busy so anyone wanting to stay that night has to be quick. The other days are filling up but there is still space.
Please contact me with your requirements, I'll arrange an offer to be sent from the hotel, which you then confirm to make your reservation. No dodgy dealings with some guy off a forum! Obviously you pay the hotel during your stay once here.
I'll be driving to the ring too and as said will do airport pickups (for the petrol money and a few beers in the evening) - so those without a car can be guaranteed getting there OK if they just want to come and watch - I'll take them on a lap and around the usual points to watch (without charge).
If there are so many people coming why not make this the official Passion Ford European Invasion? Turn it to a sticky and get MLR, Roybacer etc. informed see how many UK/Irish cars want to join. It could stir international publicity from the tuning mags.
Roll on September!

Anyone wanting a reservation has to send either an email adresse or fax number, so the hotel can make an offer.
Spaces are running out but I can always approach other hotels in the area. So far there are about 16 of you here so it should be a good drinking session every evening!
Beer 2 quid a pint in this hotel.
