I sold the car in full working order with a power graph for 290hp!
It made that power or there abouts on @ least 3 differnt rolling roads!? & god knowws how many times @ each rolling road!
As far as I was concerned the car was that power! it dusted most things on the road with out any trouble! put down good times for the weight of the car & condtion of tyres & my abilities!

4th gear in the dry wheel spin kinda suggestes more than 200hp as well!
Greg I hope it does m8! but i used to get fully re-built boxes & new diffs for Ł150 so didnt mind chewin 1 up every few months!
I was amazed the 1 lasted @ brunters! Nick will tell ya i did my best to kill it off!

Im not slagging the car, ive looked at it many a time at the shows and have lots of pics of it but what im saying is it seems the further north you come the less power you get.
It will be interesting to see what power he gets with the new manifold on it

In my experience of talking to them, unless they tuned it, the car is shit. I mean most tuners have their own views, though they can normally produce good results. These guys seem to think if they never tuned the car it is crap full stop.
ALL IMHO

Awesome car, one of my all time faves, and looks like it's just getting better.

Can you tell me about another RS Turbo in Scotland that AVA havnt built that has been on AVAs rollers and made over 200bhp@ the wheels ???????????

Quick question:
If the car runs loads and loads of torque but not that high a bhp figure. Does that mean the super smooth baby arse like curve tails off massively once it gets up a few rpm?
What top speed did the car make?

It didnt liek to rev I will say that!
I never managed a top speed run as the day we were @ brunters the police were using the bottom 1/2 of the run way! so had to use the turn off 1/2 way down!
But it went of the clock!

I did once however take my 106 GTi there(around 1998/99), which made 125bhp, now everyone tells me that AVA only do wheels figures, but as the 106 GTi is only 120bhp as standard at the fly and mine had only an exhaust and filter(which I was told would suck in hot air and make the car run lean, and lose me power BTW )....... where do I stand on power?
I mean did it have 125bhp at wheels????
Or was it a "bullshit" fly figure????
I am not arguing anymore about it, this is just my opinion on them, feel free to have your own.
