Can anyone tell me what activates (is it one of the plugs on the metering head) the fuel pump to prime when you turn the ignition on. Reason being is my XR2 turbo does'nt prime when i turn on the ignition. I've taken the top off the relay and nothing happens until it fires up and then the pump comes on. It's not causing a problem as the car starts after a few seconds. Just want to know why.
