I want a camcorder...

But what do I get theres millions of them out there!

I so far have worked out I want digial and optical zoom LOL

Mainly I want to use it for filming cars (both in car and out!).

Any one into home video (not smut!)

Get a Sony mini-dv mate - you can pick a decent one up for about Ł250 now

Then start looking on eBay for in-car camera mounts.

go for a cheap mini dv one. for that kind of use, it's not to important what to get. deffo get one with an analogue av input though, so that you can use a bullet camera from the likes of rf concepts. one of those strapped to the bumpe provides much more interesting footage than a std in car camcorder. it looks so much faster.

over here, it's possible to buy a reasonable jvc one for less than 300 euro.
