Stage 3 power ?? **updated**
Mate just had the saff run on the rollers and set-up. It made 260@ wheels with 280pound torque at 1 bar of boost. Basic spec is standard 2wd engine with mild headwork, T34.48 turbo, Ahmed Chip, greens, 3bar , 4x4 i/c and usual zorst, breather, filter etc.
Is this a reasonable figure ??

boost is very low !!!, infact too low and a 500 cooler is really needed with ya spec tbh 
15psi is very low and bet it pours out black smoke being a ahmed chip at 15psi

ran's im talking about the black smoke caused by unburnt fuel to cool the pistons 
with the map its gonna add more fuel that ment to and ahmeds off the shelf chips are usually quite juicy anyway
this aint a dig at ahmeds chips in anyway just that the cossies with big flames have ahmed chips

Ginge it doesnt smoke at all mate 
oh and send that hose when you get a chance mate, no hurry now
Ranj / Smit its just been taken from its old stage 1 tune and setup with -31 actuator at lowest point so can go further than 1 bar but we'll see what its like at Croft on Sunday and maybe turn it up a bit then
At least 1 things good, its running healthy and safe so not all bad

im sure that when ua got a stage 3 map ya need to run it and the sugested boost and not at half the boost for fueling, not saying its gon a have the same fueling BUT with ahmeds rich over runing chips theys gonna be loads of fuel there
my car was flying 6 foot flames out the back with my ahmed chip
that was running 18psi when it was ment to run 24psi

Mate.....you can run whatever boost YOU want...most chips are unlimited where as the more boost the more fuel until YOU turn the boost up too much for the injectors!!!!
Whoever told you that a chip has to run a certain boost pressure needs remapping in the head

Stu every chip i have ever run will do whatever boost pressure at the correct mixture ..Maybe i am using PRO tuners?
I wont beleive Ahmed sells a chip that will only do one boost setting

Roys car does make mine loo like stage 1 davy a.v.a would probably never run it by 15psi stoo`s mate tac just done stage 3 there wa same mods as andy and would not run it by 15psi safety obviously , is it big difference davy from standard ? is he happy with it ?

Roys car makes a lot o cars look satage 1 eh mate
Car was setup up on the boost that Andy had set it up to and was happy with the fuelling etc (grey car is running stg 3 bits from my blue car except for his new t34 turbo) he has turned the boost up but everything will hopefully be ok as you know that we aint for taking chances

sounds like the track actions gonna be quality
rab did roys car have a problem on track at knockhill
just watched th videos of the evo on track and he seemed to pass him no probs and hes only supposed to have 202bhp@wheels thought roys was way over 300?

what evo ? roy did have a problem out there towards the end timing belt just about came off so car was running alot hotter than expected so was very weary about it roys is a good bit over 300@wheels was first time on knockers too

phil... youre mapping a chip thats speced to run 25psi blah blah blah
are you really going to sit there and correctly fill in all the other parts of the map? why would you bother to map it at 10psi, 11psi, 12psi etc. etc. it'd take weeks!
you wouldnt, coz its WAAAAY too much effort... so you just estimate the rest of the map and make it a it bit fat for safety sake...
you then sell your chip to some punter and tell them its for 25psi...
if then run the fucker at 10psi, remember you havent bothered to map that bit properly... so their car wont run perfectly (it wont be BAD, but not perfect)
