I would ask people who've got them what they think of them, because I've heard a few people say they're not the easiest of things to fit and that the after sales service isn't that great. I'm not passing judgement though, because I've looked at their site and I must say they do look good, and they're a good price as well. But it might be worth you just asking for some comments about them.

when i got mine (didn't fit behind standard escos wheels like they were meeant to) & tried calling for weeks on end the phone either just rang & rang or was engaged. in the end i gave up & sold them.
shame because they looked really good & the company seem to do some nice stuff, they just need to start a customer relationship base.

Customer service isn't a problem if you go through one of their main dealers .
Here are the silver ones. I don't think you can fault them, as they are Performance Friction discs (the best money can buy), and AP bobbins (again the best money can buy).
I think you will find that people tend to remember mistakes that may have been made several years ago and hold it against them from then on . There is not ONE company that can claim to NOT have made a mistake that cost the customer in some way .

Mike, people who deal direct with Lo Spec do get f*cked around, and there are so many people who got fu*ed over by them,me included.I wouldnt give that joker Geoff another penny and would reccomend people purchase AP's or if they have a more limited budget use ZOO Motorsport, who do excellent brake set ups using Brembo etc.Regards Micy

it would be good to hear from hi-spec on this thread, even as a bit of self defence. im thinking of a set of mega-monster 6 pots this year for my own car but i can't believe that customer service is so poor. is it?

the brakes i had looked the bollox, they looked the bollox in the cupboard for a year, after my brake supplier (x-factor motorsport) bent over backwards to try & sort them out & got no where, i said i would contact hi-spec myself, i spoke to them a few times, all the dimentions they gave me were correct to the caliper & disk, but they still didn't fit, in the end i waited untill national day & spoke to Geoff in person, he was polite & understanding & asked if i could take the car to him & he would fit the brake kit, i agreed as its only an hour from me, but i tried to get through to them direct for the next few months but with no success, in the end i sold the kit as it was just dead money & taking up room in the house.
