Default dashboard paint

hi can anybody tell me if there is any thing on the market that you can change the colour of your dash with ie grey to black.thanks.

yeah sold at hafords, plastic paint for plastic or vynal paint for a cossie dash

vinal paint

add a colour to the start of it as desired eg; red vinal paint ect

As above but make sure you prep REALLY well before hand otherwise it will be flaking within a week.

Dashboards usually have loads of grease and back to black on them from over the years, get a degressing agent or wipe and clean it properly.

Some dash sprays may work straight onto the dash but will leave the same texture as it was originally.

Also, if you want a smooth finish, sand the dash down to get rid of the texture (not a quick job), then you could use a filler/build plastic primer and then sand that down, then a coat of plastic primer, then top coat it, put a good few coats on and then wet flat it to get rid of the orange peel effect, then polish up to a shine.

Key to this job is patience, take you time, and have a practice before hand.
