Sierra came FOURTH at GTBattle!
I had to drop out of the event at the last minute due to family problems but I think this turned out to be GOOD NEWS for the car
Renton who had never even driven the thing before! got in, scraped through qualifying, did just 2 practice laps and then came 4th overall !!!!!!!!!
Massive congratulations to Martin for building the car and Renton for stepping up and driving!
Sooo pleased as I was testing it at Brunters on Wednesday and its a very fast and very scary monster of a car that Martin has built and takes alot of getting used to, so Renton did a great job
Spoke to him yesterday and he said he was only scratching the surface of what the car is capable of
It needs lots more development of the suspension and set up BUT we will get there for the next one 
HUGE thanks to Martin for working his NUTS off as usual. It was another LAST LAST LAST second preperation which saw him working into the early hours last week
Massive thanks to all the other People that helped, Sean, Marco, Ish and Lee at Rapid fit, and Karl who mapped it on wednesday Next outing is at Castle Combe in 2 weeks time! can't wait

Everything Phil, its a fookin awesome car! I loved watching it go round yesterday, saw Renton and Martoon fiddling with some bits on it in the pitlane at the end of the day before he went out and gave it some, looked rude mate!
Only wish the public was allowed in the driver's area to see the cars up closed, I would have come and said hello, but then I see their reasons fr that
Can't wait to get to Castle Combe in a Fortnight and watch it all over again!

Rents got a good pic of the Sierra with all the (10ish?) GT Battle promo 6th formers too thanks to me accosting them in the pitlane and getting them to come over

I'm just so delighted that the Fords did the bizz , come on sir you know how these jap boys go on about how good their cars are , thats why i'm so glad that 80's techno cars done the bizz top stuff i must add aswell fair play to Sean in the Lotus man for doing so well he has got a good car there and that it is going to take some beating good on Sean well done

its not togther at the min
i got all the bits a big big pile over 10 grands worth of goodys to bolt on a engine in bits
i just dont have the time at the min
i keep praying for the nite fairys to come in the nite and build it
may be i should get a passoin ford help brom rebuild post for volinters to come up and bolt bits on
