Default How much vacume should standard Saph make?

On tick-over?

Fitted boost gauge yesterday and its showing 10, but I for some reason thought it should be nearer 15

Sounds like you have a leak. Should be around 18 in/Hg.

Depends on engine spec cams, ports, compression ratio etc...

If you mean -10 psi then that is about right for an engine upto stage 3

Thanks for the replies

I should have said it was -10psi, and its a standard engine (compression etc), so it sounds like its OK

Cheers

Thinking about it the diaphragm (sp?) in the standard re-circ dump-valve is split (ticks over at about 1200rpm at the moment) so will have to see what it sits at with the dump-valve removed, my brothers RS Turbo shows 18 in/Hg...
