hiya, was just wondering if you can get a power steering set up for a mk3 escort at all?

dunno, just got my mk3 RS1600i today and would like to know this.

could be well tempted to have a go at sorting it out when i fit the zetec engine otherwise my arms will fall off if i keep driving it the way it is

speak to Matt Downer on www.oldskoolford.co.uk as he uses a conversion from a Corsa on his Mk2 Escort.

yeah ive heard about the converstion done to mk1 and mk2 using corsa bits, but wondered if any mk3's came with it as standard or anything. P.S: i LOVE RS1600i's yum yum. get some piccies up!

you dont need it
mine is soo light on steering even with 17" wheels

Just adds weight and more stuff to go wrong. Why would you need to?
