just got my ecu back from him, and now car wont run.

there a wire spare inside the ecu which looks like it was soldiered to some where.

but as stu aint answerin the office phone i cant speek to him to make sure where it goes.

and unless i can sort it today i cant go to TOTB quaifier on tuesday.


can anyone help please.

cheers si for help, but as you know still aint runnin on my p8 super 8.

but have got it runnin on a spare stg3 L8 ecu, with all my old dissy set up,

so that rules out any fault with any of my loom, sensors and engine.


which leaves the p8 ecu, board, coilpack, and coil pack loom..


i really need to speak to stu, so come on someone most have his mobile. please.

as i spoke to kenny wen first had the problem, and he sed check all the wirein and ring him back. 20 mins after that call thier office phone was on answer phone.

i went over all coil pack loom and checked all. resoldier'd the wire in the ecu (thanks to simon).

it still didnt run. then after a break, i went back to it, and it started,
but been out testin, will only run .6mm plug gap b4 missing starts at full boost. and every now and again wont start, gives a back fire, and then its starts on next attempt.

still not fully sorted, but hopefully will be with simon's and stu's help.

at least is runnin ok, so will be goin on tuesday.

heres a pic of a p8. (cheers dingy) with sec's coilpack fitted.

the pink wire is the one that was not conected.
