Which phone, do you guys think, is the best at the mo, been thinking of getting a D500 or a V3, what else should I consider?

seems that i'm still i nthe past with my old samsung flip phone, shes 5 this year 
I'm not a fan of al lthis new gagetry and ringtone bollocks.
But if i were to recommend one, it would be the same as my mates, not sure of make and model, but its half camera half phone, and it twists on a pivot to get the keypad. sony ericson maybe?

V3 runs very shortly on one charging of the bbattery. IT seams to me that this is the case with all MOtorollas as I have 3rd of 4th one and it runs only a day or so.
D500 seams to have good opinion.
