Where have all the quick RST's gone!?
Fookin shonky ass fords!
Cant u ppl keep your cars goin!?
There will be 2 yes 2 fwd cars @ the TOTB qualifier this tuesday!
& i recon we will b pushed to get 5 cars for TOTB itself!

Isnt the TOTB all about top speed? for that you need alot of bhp. Over 300bhp through the front wheels is pretty insane and makes the car useless for anything other than top speed runs - who has the cash or lack of sense (besides that sunny dude) to build such a car?

A day off work and then having to drive to an event to rag thier car, for most people is a little too much dude.
I have asked, but most peeps are more worried about earning money to live and pay rents etc.. than running thier ŁŁŁŁŁŁŁŁ worth of car down a strip
for no reason other than trying to prove sumin they dont need to

I just dont see the point in buildin a car to make all this power & then turnin down a chance to prove the car in a safe enviroment!

As per pm Lewis I would come but am finishing a 2 year posting in Northern Ireland next Friday so no chance of me getting out of here before that otherwise I would have loved to have a crack at some more times.

I can see why people want to build quick RST's etc.. maybe for the pod or for fun.. but if it was me personally, it would be to compete.. This is a perfect example to prove what your car is capable of IMO.. id be there for sure, if i had some decent power

Ive contacted the new owner but its seems to b a scottish thing! they dont like doin it!
sayin thast though the car wasnt setup! typical ford! ah i dont miss those days!

Well if ya got ten places and only five cars fuck risking the cars for no reason. Jano's right!!
thats proper confused me!
yea did a 14.1 in the old escort! she had a 13 in her no probs just needed some tyres that werent bald budgets!
& a gearbox that wasnt hagnin out of her! in fact i think that gerabox died a few days after my day @ brunters!
