I've only recently got my car running properly after mapping (ignition issues with Cossie management).
I'd be well up for going to the qualifying but I'm a complete newb so will probably take some practise to get the times needed for qualification.
What with the noise restrictions I've told will be in place I seriously don't think I'd get any further than 1 run on the day as it's a little on the loud side!
I only turn my stereo on when running low boost

If mine was finished dont think i would bother, whats the point of thrashing the bollocks of your car which has taken 2+ years to build and restore, to get to TOTB where there will be some guy in something Jap running 1000bhp out of a 1.6 in a Civic backed up with a full formula 1 style pit crew and money is no object
IMO If i wanted to compete at TOTB i would not have started with a shonky old Ford!!

sorry lewis, i'm gunna give it a miss this year, not gunna get it mapped in time and theirs no point runnin as it is at 10psi runnin mid 13s.
its not really competetive is it.

Lewis, ref the title of the thread, is it a case of all mouth and no trousers with RST owners?
C'mon boys and girls, get the cars out! Years ago an Rs turbo was the ultimate lads car, imo it still is sometimes, get em up there for testing!

the fwd min entry time is sub 14s 1/4m, we have 5 rovers and 5 hondas, 5 fiat coupes, plus some other very interesting fwd cars already proven and entered, anyone with such a car (non ford) can apply direct to run, without trying to get in the rs turbo team 
i also have the orion turbo entered again that competed last year and ran 13s 1.4s. this is a tuner entry, but can still count for the team points for the rs boys if you wish
i have a few vauxhalls (astras/corsa) wanting spare places with proven 13s cars, but dont worry if all the 10 rs places cant be filled this time around, run with whatever team cars you get.
