closed roads rallying.
got confermation this morning of my accepted entry into the jim clark memorial rally at duns in two weeks time.
closed public roads, absolutly fooking amazing.pace notes and anti lag allowed, its going to be a very memorable weekend.
250 rally cars over 3 days includeing at least 30 world rally cars, irish tarmac championship round and them boys fly.
got two weeks to get my car up to spec, mite even drop the proper harvey gibbs 440lb/ft torque motor in and see how she goes.
anybody wanting to see rallying at its best then get yourselves up to duns.

Tim think I am in Belgium the weekdays before the event - which would make the recce difficult as I only fly back in late Friday night. Who's Scooby ?
Mark - beware of the few pints rule...... Tim's a bit thirsty
Weeton will be different then too - I read most of the buildings are coming down

Didn't try for an entry as rear diff is getting rebuilt and building damn house is making Mull doubtfull without doing JCMR as well. Could come down if your needing service crew though.
Will send you a text if I can get Alan and give you an idea when you need to be a truckstop.
