It does not matter what size the turbo is? Even with a std T3 it helps reduce lag time and is proven by the 0-60 and 0-100 times difference with and without the ALS.
I dont see the problem with ALS on roads as we dont get to use it round corners anyway, which IMO is dangerous to use for others people safety as the control of the car is almost none.
But when on motorways or straights etc.. it all helps to stop the 350+bhp cossie from going past you

But generally i agree, its not really needed and if you run it much its expensive in cylinder heads.
