see the thing is.. its days like national day and ford fair ect... its a wicked buzz in a 10/15/20 car convoy down the m1, all RS's thats what i love

wont quite be the same.. im starting to think that at 25 im just loosing the interest

something like this can be had soooooooooo cheap

i can appreciate cossie owners keeping a cossie, but a erst for a scooby cant be a bad thing

Yes m8!

UI know loads! infact Gar is building 1 @ the mo cause it maelted the plug & valves to the piston!

If u get a jap 1 ur gunna need to get the fuel map sorted!

If u gtet a british 1 then its much better! if u get 1 where ppl have used super all its life then u should b fine! but i know ppl who run them on normal siansburys crap! & they dont last long lol!

Its just a case of buyin a good 1 or buyin 1 with the intensions to rebuild it!

westwood - the beemer is definately the best option - purely because i do mega motorway miles, they are excellanty comfy and good for cruising in, have a LOT more status than a 3 series and they are now under the 6k mark for a 2001 model

just because someone says your cars only worth Ł500 dont mean $hit i get this all the time from boy racers in there new corsas saying that corsas are faster than rs turbos because there newer and got better technology so they dont need a turbo bolted to theres but it dont want me to go out and buy a corsa you could say same thing about a rs500 its only a sierra but if you know its special who gives a t0ss you will get the same thing in the scoob mate they will say its a waist of money and they always blow up cause there tuned high as standard

subaru's are shite mate got six mates who own them every single one of them has had a re-build and two of 'em are back in the garage now being taken apart again all this in the last 9 months
buy a saff they're more comfortable (mmmm black leather recaro's) bits are cheaper far far easier to get power out of and you wont lose no money

Fundamentally good cars really, and great value for money.

Dont worry about convoys to ford fair, you can go to jap events in a convoy of scoobies instead, just bear in mind what a large % of the owners are tossers

"All the gear and no idea" seems to be the fairly accurate stereotype of a scooby owner, very few of them know anything about cars, certainly not the way the average cossie owner does.

Go for it mate.

I love them - RS Turbos aren't even in the same sport, let alone league.

The only downside to a lot of the Jap stuff, is that the meets and the scene in general are nowhere near as friendly/informative.

You talk bollocks! I have no convictions for anything and neither does anybody I know that owns them

You had one a while back as I have the feature on it. How many convictions did you have?
