What kind of car you tuning?
I've used Ricky for years with all my 2WD cossies, RS Turbos and MK1 XR2's. Always seem to get decent service.
I have heard some bad reports but you cant please everyone.

I had my car up fo a service and tune which was fine and rickys a nice guy to.
Later on i had a bad misfire which he failed to diagnose. Advised it was probably a problem with my chip or amal valve. Was just a faulty coil in the end.
After having my car done by stu at msd i wouldnt put it anywhere else now. It is a long way to go but i visit family/ freinds down there anyway.

stonehavencossie,
You running your stage 3 stuff now??
Ricky set up my last 2WD and about a month later it started to melt plugs and burn valves. I took it to another local guy who ran it up on his rolling road and aborted the run at about 40mph in 4th saying that it was virtully running on vapour
On investigation the ecu was knackered (not adjusting with the co screw). I cant blame him for this as i dont know what dammage he could have done by simply adjusting the screw.
New ECU and bayjoo chip and i was up and running again
You have to weigh up what service you want. Remember MSD (Blackpool) is only 4 to 4 1/2 hrs from Aberdeen and they are working on these things day in day out whereas ricky might only see 1 or 2 cossies a month dunno,
The choice is yours!!

Aye laddie .....
Ricky didnt have a clue at my stuttering problems with the FRST and he shocked witness' by taking out my chip and running the car
His comments of "these things dinna like big exhausts" didnt give me much hope.
Get your arse down the road and get it done properly
