I have recently fitted a low comp engine and t34, 0.63 houseing on my 4x4 cosworth, now it will only boost 20psi max.

The old engine was running stage 3, greens, standard turbo, RS500 cooler, mongoose and big air filter and boosted no problems to 30+ psi.

The new engine is a 7.6-1 cr with big cut outs, pair of BD14 cams, t34 with 0.63 housing but have converted to 2wd exhaust manifold.

I have tried different actuators and changed the amal valve. Iv even today tried looping the turbo with a bleed valve but still no more than 20psi boost.

Also it doesnt start boosting til 4000rpm and hits 20psi at 6000rpm.

Would changing the cams back to standard help??

Anyone have this problem before???

Can someone explain the way a boost is made??
