Was told (by stu I think) soft side to soft side, so soft side of gasket to the head, metal to the manifold - easy to remember hey

i thought it would be rough to manifold and smooth to head, but thats just a guess as i cant remember, but to me makes sence , thats prob saying im totally wrong

erm,,,,,,, nope as the thing was a fooker tio take off and when it did all 4 of em ( theres fooking 4 of em, why not make just 1 long one ) fell to the floor

besides im good at guessing

softside makes sence to me as the rough side would mark the allow head and the manifold would maybe wear a bit and blow

again thins is jsut guess work and me trying to look at things with logic, a phone call to stu or kenny i find usually tells me im wrong

frog,the logic is that the cast manifold to a ally head has a heat difference...so by putting the metal to the manifold it cools it down for the head...apparently
