Sneak preview pics of my yellow 3door
#43
Im going to stick with the escos rims to begin with and see how i get on, i actually really like how 3doors look on them, so until the brakes get changed (if they do, dont know yet) then i will just leave them i think.
Should probably get them reconditioned though as its a shame to put tatty wheels on a mint shell.

Depends what you plan to do with the car and what brakes are going on a suppose.
Junked all my old ABS as you can see
I whipped this up myself as well. Not bad for a first attempt huh?!?! I did have Martins one to copy though...
Looks better now its powder coated and in car

Porkie, if you made that pedal box then fair play to you mate!
As for uses for the car, its likely to be:
The mrs using it for going shopping with her sister
Me going to work and back
Cruising around in it at night picking up schoolgirls
I dont really see me being very likely to want it on a trackday or a quarter mile day or anything like that as i've got other vehicles specifically for that sort of thing, so its probably never going to get driven REALLY hard realistically.
As for brakes, im not sure if i will ever feel the need to upgrade them or not, and if i did it would probably only be a basic upgrade not anything too lairy.

Can you imagine if roles were reversed. Judging by the forklift antics martoons idea of risk management would be everything on black 21

So i was saying if you pay some bird to suck yours, then by your logic thats the same as doing it yourself, so does that mean you are going to claim the same party trick as big ron?

We're straying off topic here a little, but i actually used to be able to self-felate (although didnt, honest ) but i cant any more as im now a fat cunt not a flexible martial artist anymore

I love the yellow 3 door ,, As you say it isnt a shame as it aint a 3 door on logbook so it isnt lowering its value , so why not
Paul, when Chip bought the car it was on a Q plate........so it's value would have been much lower than the usual E reg RS500 anyway.

I know its story ,,i was just saying that as it isnt a pukka 3 door , Why not paint it yellow as it isnt going to upset the purests ,

Paul, i know exactly where you are coming from mate, i said that on the vuaxhall site i use, that if it was on a 3door logbook it would have been financial suicide and really wound the purists up if i painted it yellow, but as it is all i have "desicrated" is a 1.6GL sierra i bought for 450 quid technically, the 500 shell was already long since dead, so its not like i just cut it up for a laugh to make this one.
So all ive done is turn a snottty old 1.6Gl that happened to have a mint shell in a rather nasty red colour to a yellow cossie replica and that wont offend anyone

Ps
If you are looking for the logic at all, its quite simple, having been to lots of ford events this year (ive never been to places like central day before as im not really a ford fan specifically, i just like anything fast) i noticed that there are just an endless supply of mint standard 3 doors in all 3 colours.
you literally see a line of 10 mint condition 3doors all lined up.
I didnt really feel like i would be bringing much to the party to just turn up with yet another one, no one would even notice if it was there or not, where as at least this way it gives people something to talk about, good OR bad, its all cool from my point of view

Sadly mate, when you look as good as i do, you just have to get used to living your life with lots of attention
On a serious note though, yes i am indeed an attention seeker with my cars, im not aware of anyone who goes to a carshow and tries to hide their pride and joy where no one can see it, we all like people admiring our handy work (or handy work we've paid for with out hard earned money in your case porkie )

im going for escos rims to begin with for the simple reason that is all i have lieing around that will fit it at the moment, am getting them refurbed in normal silver, then will decide at a later date if they are going or staying, dont want to make a decision yet as i want to actually have the car to try prospective wheels on in real life not rely on photoshop.
