Default 200 block 1mm oversized....???

onlowered comp pistons
stage III

Is it acceptable to go 1mm oversize??

I wouldn't if I had the choice but few people have done and cars are running fine.


my reason would be limiting yourself to around the 350bhp level imop

think i would go for 4 liners and put it back to standard bore.

i,ve done it on 205 and 200 blocks and been ok. markk does it even more on 205s on greys and never had any bother.

If it came to putting 4 liners in I would just buy a new block instead .. by the time you work out the cost of fitting and machining etc price doesnt differ much

a was told new liners are'nt as strong and is no good for big power
