they say 1.2million ppl turn 17 everyday and there are only 17,000 qualified driving instructors out there so work is prity much guaranteed (well on this course the 3k guarantees u a job at the end or your money back!)

id say alot of ppl in here would do good to look into it!

doing this at the minute, hopefully it will be worth it

wanted a new challenge really , plus work from home

the instructor college is one of the best you can go to and they place you with a school when you are finished.

the £3k first off is not that much really when you think about it , most training courses are around the £2k mark.

you are better off paying it all out in one hit rather than take out the government grant as the interest rate is crap, so if you have the money then its worth the sacrifice now.

be warned the pass rate is not high

Come on cam, 1.2million a day....that means theres over 350million 17 yr olds in britain....you mean a year, I know...but

Let's be honest, Im a learner and I wouldn't be able to put up with me for 8 hours everyday....no thanks...lol....

I don't think patience is a word that even comes close to what you need. I think deafness and prozac probably help.

How old do you have to be ?

Ive only just turned 18, but ive been driving on tracks since 13 so i would say im above average also i passed my driving test first time with no minors and with 2 lessons before hand. But i bet you probably have to be 21 so my age is letting me down

if you dont have the money then apply for the grant, im not saying its bad idea just that if you had the money sitting somewhere then this would have been better.

but how you finding it so far?
really interesting and very challenging, not given it 100% of my energy as yet due to work commitments so not been rushing it.

definately worth going for? and how old are you if you don't mind me asking?
yes go for it, look into it first though as the job does not suit everyone. Dont forget out of your wages you have many things to pay out for but then again you will a lot more than what you have stated[going by where you live].

Im 25 btw.

just noticed you have a driving test on thursday , who is this with and how old are you???

They must have changed their procedure as they never done that before [friends have gone through them]

Tips are don’t try too hard they are not expecting you to drive like an advanced driver, that’s what they teach you. Be very aware of what’s going on around you and drive in a confident but defensive manner

RAN -

I've been working as a driving instructor for about 7 weeks now & i've gotta say.....
............... THE YOUNG GIRLIES ARE AWESOME TO TEACH!

On a serious note - it's a VERY stressful job!
I thought it was going to be alot easier than it is.
It's good as in im my own boss, the money's ok, i work when i want to work & have time off when i want BUT there's times when you come home & your just soooo mentally drained & you think flock me that was a hard day!

It just takes the 1 bad learner to ruin your day!

But dont let that put you off, it can be a good career & you get to meet loads of people etc (& get sworn at by loads of other motorists)

It's not as simple as passing your test on thursday

That'll be an initial assesment of YOUR driving so they know how much work they have to put in to your driving in order for you to pass your part 2 exam!
Have you done your instructors theory test? & then after you pass that you have to do an instructors driving test which aint that easy at all!

how do you rate them?

and how long did it take you?

i was told 6months min, but i wanna speed things up!

sorry about all the questions, just trying to find out as much as i can b4 i commit

URBAN BELL-END

I done my training with BSM who i now have a franchise with.
It took me about a year & a half.

Im currently preparing for my final exam 'part 3' which is supposed to be mega difficult, but it should all be completed in the next couple of months or so.
