Default Insurance for your ford... who you with?

need to get a quote for an rs1600i and would like to know who you lot are insuring your cars with, as the few prices ive had so far are a bit on the wild side!!!

tesco 954 quid fully comp being 24yrs old with 6yrs NCB and 3 points

who does rs owners club discounts etc?

HIC have done me good this year.

If Tesco's are the same as they were when I was quoted the premium is good but the cover is not. They only offered a policy that would replace equipment with standard in the event of a claim. Admiral are the same as that was why I left them as are Diamond and Elephant (same group).

Don't just look at the lowest premium look at the cover the premium gives you. It might save you a fortune in the long run

norwich union, 21, 4 years no claims, got the cheapest quote by almost 200 quid cheaper than anywhere else on my escort gti

Tesco wouldnt insure me(my previous insurer) cos they wont do it till your 21 but i was 20 at the time of buying it.

Greenlight, Speak to Neil, sorted me out a good price on the cossie and insured
the Laguna for much cheapness too...

i'm with dominion! you get discount with them if rs member! 900 for a rwd saph! 23 with 3yrs ncb! tried confused.com the other day and got quoted £3200

i tried confused too the other day got quotes of up to 1600 quid to insure an rs1600i insurance rip off's, adrian flux said cos im only 24 im classed in with the young drivers , even with 6yrs NCB

just found out the rs1600i is group 15 too, whats all that about

PMSL at Dominion.

I'm 24, 4 years ncb, 3 points now and parked on my drive. Cat 1 on a standard 4x4 saph. 1900 quid Fully comp, no quote available for tpft.

Adrian Flux all the way, Green light were a strong second..

my old 1600i cost me 1500 quid tpft to insure when I was 21. An RST or RS2k would have been cheaper to insure.

i was with a company called footman james for my 4x4 saff i am 25 and was paying 270 on classic cover dont know if this helps.if you want ill get you the number.

Try "Chris Knott" mate they deal with classic my A reg 16i costs me £170 tpft thats with full no claims got my VW Bora with them aswell beat tesco`s and eveyone else too.
