I know Cola and I 'want' to do this, but september is a way away, plenty of time for summat to break before then Never been before, so would be an experience. What sort of costs are we looking at Mike?

If you get a lift with someone, you looking at a max of a couple of hundred quid each for the whole weekend. If you take your own car, then it still isn't much more than that if you have passengers to share travelling / ferry / hotel costs with. You just have to add fuel costs going round the Ring (2-5 tanks depending on how much you like it) and Ring ticket costs.
Is beginning of Sept - think the first complete weekend in Sept?

I couldn't come last year mate cause of dates....
I have the money for this so providing nothing breaks @ national day and i can't fix it then i am coming...

Testing the future
are you talking about the weekend of Friday 9th to Sunday 11th September Mike? European Ford Event atLandgraaf is that Sunday.
I will definitely be there. Look forward to meeting some more pf peeps i would like a ride in something fast this time, after the disastrous day i had last time.

I "think" the dates mentioned are 9th - 12th to coincide with that show.
Quite happily take passengers - you just have to like Haircut 100 and Spandau Ballet, as these get played full volume to get me in the mood for fast driving .

Trying to get away for a week or two in august too though, so we'll see how we go. If it comes to it im sure i could pimp my arse to Westy for a few quid

Im going on the weekend of the 9th of september.
Not sure what car im taking yet though, or if i will be in one of SBD16V's cars, depends on which cars each of us have on the road at the time.
I quite fancy taking the mid engined nova over, but would have to transporter or trailer it as there isnt any room for a suitcase if you have two people sat in it, trouble is i dont think my insurance on it will cover me at the ring and i wouldnt want to be prosecuted for driving on the road without insurance.

Team HOTHOT!
i'm long weekend friday 09th to tuesday 13th - will have to see about going on this road trip this time - but i've just payed for a holiday to las vegas so funds might be tight
