Think Porkie means that its an 'older' mans car mate, kind of a plodder not just for out and out speed like a Saph!

Nice tho, will be a much better ride than you cossie!

Love M5s, driven 1 a few times and really liked it.

Would only get one in a more "stand out" colour though as in that pic it looks like a boring old mans car.

Look smart in the red they do

They are awesome cars, very very very good. BUT the age of an average M5 driver is almost 50!!!

Think an M3 would be better at 27 Do you need all the extra space of an M5?

Saying that I had a new 4.6 HSE RangeRover at 25 but I had other cars as well at the time so it wasn't all sad

Id have a E46 (is that them?) M3 over an M5 any day, but I was under the impression (never looked tho, i dont live in a dreamworld and dont think i can afford one ) that they cost loads more (ie M5s have depreciated loads).

I love the newer shape M3s, look awesome, one of VERY few cars I really love the std look.

you wont be alloud on the stand with that german tank
And i would be inclined to cane your sorry ass every time i see it ,see although its no longer restricted there is no way it as as agile as the cossie, unless you had a motorway and fancied loosing your licence, how fast do you want to go

Gotta disagree Clive,i reckon an M5 would PISS on a Cossie in almost every respect, even a 350-400 bhp example. Awesome cars mate, now wheres the Autotrader

The M5 is a very agile car for its weight, the suspension on it makes a cossies look 100 yrs old.
Ive driven one and the throttle response in sport is so sharp it makes a turbo engine feel cack, the drivability is great and so is the noise.

My sapphire at 400 brake felt much much stronger above 4k revs though,i thought the M5 felt a bit tame up top end,and the M3 even tamer.

I gotta admit i got a soft spot for big old powrful cars

Though agree with Steve i would have the new M3 over it but there is a bit of a price difference. And the M3 i think is one of the cars you could quite happly buy and leave 100% std. But we know that would never happen

M5 is great but with regards to track performance etc dont their brakes get very tired after a short period because of the wieght? Just think i read that somewhere to

I was chasing after one of these when I melted the other night ... I drive all the way hime frm norfolk nice and sensible like, even ignored a couple of scoobies trying to bait me on the 25... then 10 mins from home one of these flies past and I dont think twice just put my foot down and pull after it WHY did I bother... thats the worst thing... It wouldve looked like I just stopped catching him and was out of puff.. ... I will hunt him down once rebuilt
