The lock up rate of the clutches is all computer controlled and set before each launch. They either got the track conditions completely wrong or did it as a show case

lmfao! i been watching these 11 yrs and never seen that before, looks like there was absoloutley no traction compound laid on the track beforehand! flames come from nitromethane fuel they are burning, transmission consists of 1 gear and about 13 clutches, and best run ive seen myself is 4.83@321mph.
hats off to those american drivers, they were trying! not easy to control one of them!
