How many times can you ask how to modify a Fiesta in one day? LMAO @ RAC comment, poor git!
Axel - 15" alloys, 35mm drop, XR/RS bodykit and XR/RS spoiler will transform the thing. All that lot can be done for 500 quid if you search hard.

An idea....
Mine when I got it for my 18th, 4 years ago:
2i alloys, bumpers and interior:
15" Escort GTI alloys, full -35mm suspension kit, Recaros, RS full bodykit:
RS Turbo bonnet added (RS_Rawli's car next to mine, more inspiration for ya):
Mondeo TDI conversion:
Zetec Turbo conversion:
Mine started out as a bottom of the range 1.8 Diesel. Now has loads of electrics, 4 pot 285mm brakes, anti-roll bar, almost four times the power it used to have, and considerably improved looks. Just do what you like the look of, your taste will constantly change though!

Thanks, but why won't yours get as far as mine? I only started modifying it three years ago, and it's been through all sorts of different stages....been off the road the last ten months too! I did a lot for not very much money at the beginning: installed rear wiper, remote central locking, remote electric boot release, full bodykit, uprated XR2i discs and standard XR2i callipers, XR2i interior, 13" alloys, XR2i suspension....did all that for wayyyyy under 500 quid. It doesn't have to cost a lot to move it forward, and bear in mind this is my first ever car...you just learn stuff along the way

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! If you are wanting to modify, with the possibility of upping to bigger power (I never thought for one minute I'd upgrade the engine, let alone anything else!), it's best to start with a good solid shell.

Well Ad if i get a free day i'll help out but as heeman says i dont cost alot to get it done and you've got the electrics pack fitted just need to get down the scrap yards by you for an XR2i/RST. Beraing in mind parts off other fords will fit and a few bits off other cars.
Heeman10 did you keep the standard dash or swap for the XR2i version

Depending on your age will limit to what you can do, I would go for a set of 2i or RS1800 wheels and leave it at that. At most you'll get a back box for it, maybe a panel filter but in the long run, it's really not worth it.

That's right, just hunt around scrappies/internet (be wary of dodgy sellers, though the cleanest stuff is usually found online in my opinion, not in scrappies).
Brooksey - My car came with the black dash and interior as it was. Now looks like this (excuse crap photo!)

One small point...I don't know if you're wanting to modify for looks or "performance" (which doesn't just mean it goes fast, it's the whole package...handling, braking etc), but the 155/80/13 standard tyres kill the things. They don't turn in, can't take much in the way of braking forces, and are general gay!! I bought the 2i alloys largely for their 185/60/13 tyres, but the wheels did improve the looks of the car a lot. Get the brakes off one too, as they're thicker vented items, you'll notice a big difference as the car will stop when you come to junctions!

We have (from bottom left) clock, boost/vac, ACT, Plazmadials FRST clocks, oil temp, oil pressure. I'd be lost without them, they're all extremely necessary (bar the ACT gauge, that's for personal reference).

Paul - Yep, humble beginnings!!! Still goes the same as any other Mk3 would with a ZT and the same modifications, so who cares? I'd like a sunroof I think actually! lol Swap?
Axel - This is a busy forum, and those of use who don't come on here much (eg me) often get sort of shoved aside. Just one of those things really, like stepping into a room of ppl who know each other, and you're just left standing! The harsh reality of newbie forum life
