Default Escort Cos small turbo intercooler?

Does any one know if there is a difference between the Escort cos small turbo intercooler and one from a saph?

I'm not too worried about the mounting points as it is for my kit car, more the overall dimensions.

Is it shorter? Cos thats what im after.

I know the large turbo one has a inbuilt charge cooler! Its the small turbo version i'm asking about.

Don't suppose any one has one they could run a tape measure over. Really interested in the core length as i will probably fab up my own end tanks.

Cheers,

Doug.

I can measure mine when I go out. Is that enough?

Azrael,

You are a star.

Whats Poland like in the summer. Warm? Always fancied a visit. Is there some nice countryside?

What are the roads like?

Depends on the month. Last weekend was hottest in 50 years. During a rally on suterday I saw temperatures exeding 40 degrees on thermometer. Generally June is very warm (25-30 degrees) with occasional rain and colder day. Like today - it's about 18-20 degrees and it rained in the morning.

July usually is a little bit more wet, with August more sunny but generally you can expect a little warmer climate then in Britain at this time of year with longer periods of hot sunny days. In June there are sometimes heavy storms and winds.

What are the roads like?
Imagine bad and then make it worse. Really really bad. Lots of crack in tarmac, pot holes, very narrow, usually one line even main roads. Lots and lots of lorries going from wester europe to the east and other way round. Roads here can be dangerous if somebody is not used to driving here. Although any driver who enjoys driving and not only uses this as means of moving his ass about can get used to it.

If you really wanted to come there is lots of really beautyfull countryside, lotsd of monuments, old cities, some really unknown even to most of the Poles. Probably one could spend couple of months driving around and seeing new interesting places. If I can recoomend something try flipping through pages of tuorist guide to POland in some book store.I believe there is english language one released in UK by Pascal Publishing.

If you ever decided to come feel free to write me or msg me or whatever so I can help you in any way I can I've been to many places in europe and I really andhonestly do think it's worth coming here. One good thing is that it schould be quite cheap for Englishman here.

Intercooler core on my car is ~46cm (precise measurement is hard because of all the piping and stuff but it's within half cm)
