Looking good How do you do the labelling Ryan? Is it a special see-through heatshrink?

Just one more question: Where is the big rubber grommet for where the loom passes through the bulkhead?

Wes i bought a Thermal printer, not fooookin cheap

It prints onto heatshrink and then clear heatshrink is put over the top for protection against abrasion.

Wes, unfortauntely the grommits are no longer available from fords i've had all my contacts looking high and low for them, so the current solution is to use the existing one.

Until i can find a better solution.

Pectel Looms have the genuine ford grommit but i think either they've bought up the remainder of the stock or they get them made especially. Either way i think they would be a bit reluctant to sell me 50

Thanks for the info Ryan

When i made my loom, i couldn't source that grommet either, so i reused the original, however i had to put the wires through the grommet before fully assembling the loom as there was no way i was getting either all of the engine connectors or the ecu connector through it, without having to modify the grommet i.e. cutting a big hole in it

simple single cut from the outer to the inside of the grommit.

Slip the loom out slide the new one in

Once reinstalled you would never know

Im sure i find a suitable solution soon
