Cockatiels
Opened the cage this morning to let both birds out on their perch ,my wife came up behind me and opened the window without realising I had opened it ,as they were still in the cage but door was open . Obviously they came out sometime and flew out the bloody window. Are they like homing pidgeons and come back or do you think they flew the nest forever. Dont other birds attack them ?

Iain dont want to put a downer on the subjest, but as a parrot and cockatiel owner i am up on this subject, the biggest problem is the wind, these pet's are not used to the wind and get easy disentoreated (sp) and will get attacked by larger wild birds,go look for them, hopefully they will stick together and you will find them, get an add on local radio

No mate.
Cockatoo is in the parot family and a Cockatiel is almost like a larger budgie. Remember Wac-a-day? Timmy Mallet? His bird (Magic) was a cockatiel
