just sold my sony trv-22 yesterday on ebay. Depends what you want it for really. I thought I would do loads of filming but have only done little bits. As it is a dual thing we compromised on the still picture quality and it wasnt that good. Sold it and bought a Cannon IXUS 500 which is 5Mega pixel still pics, much better.

The TRV-22 was good for filming but not stills. Looks similar to Katies above

hey richard i got a 101, its the best thing since sliced bread. my advice is if you want a camcorder then get a sony (101 if you can still buy it), if you want to take stills then buy a camera, i use fuji finepix F610.
cheers nomad ps i was on hols in feutra ventura and all the camera shops were trying to sell me new camcorder.... until they saw what i already owned...
pps got my 101 for Ł869 by going on kelkoo, retail was Ł1200

martin i was talking to a guy who reckoned that the news crews take a sony dcrp101 along as back up, if the main camera fails then they make the recording on the sony, you cant get much better than that. cheers nomad ps its got everything you need inc DV in / out, nightshot, videoS, etc, the model that replaced it has not got some of its features.
