Default camshaft question..

can anyone explain the differences between the cvh 34, 35 and piper285T.
to be used on an EFi 1.6cvh, stg 3 big valve head with a 60trim .48 housing.
+ which one would you go for and why? cvh34 would be the mildest and make the car less laggy?

gav ya cars gona be laggy anyway tbh with that spec, the cam aint gonna make it much worse

id personally go for a cvh36 cam with your spec as its a higher reving cam than the 34 and 35

its a tiny bit laggy at the mo with the cvh34, was wondering if the 35 or the 285T would make it much worse and whats the difference between them?

When I ran a stg 2 turbo with a bv head and PE cam it was as laggy as hell. Nicest spec was with bv head and cam and std turbo. PE SX428 cam is good, revs like hell and perfect idle (not lumpy) not sure if u can still get it tho

gav the cvh36 is a higher reving cam and suiting for higher speeds which i know your a fan of

problem is all cams that are high soeed/reving move the powerband up, the cvh36 dont come on song till 2500 to 3000rpm

newman cams need to be speced for them to make em, they dont actually make there own profiles

and 4500 to 7500 is not gonna suit his engine or turbo
