Traction control on v6 st24

hi

ive just brought a mondeo st24 and was wondering if the traction control is on when the light is on or off.

it is off when the light on the button is on.

If u see the symbol come up on the dash then it is actually cutting in.

if the symbol on the dash is on perminantly, and the light on the switch is on perminantly. Then there is a fault.

the symbol on the dash only comes on if you put your foot down when the light is off the button
