Mike, is the material heat resistant/flame retardent? Someone in Wessex FO club put a new cover on their 355 and it singed/melted a big hole in the material
The "hot spot" on an Es Cos is the right-hand bonnet vent area.......peeps tend not to let the car cool off properley....but instead put the cover on as soon as it gets into the garage
Of course, the real danger is that IF the wrong material is used, then overnight it could set the whole garage alight

so what is so different about the other covers you can buy as this seems to be an additional 100 quid.
I bought a cover 2 yrs back made of the same material which allowed it to breath and it was brilliant - i could leave my car on the drive in the winter only to have a 2 foot of snow fall onto it and underneath the cover the car was bone dry. The only issue was that it did not have the pockets for the wing mirrors and also the fact I could not tie it down properly as the that tie-down string runs across the bottom of the car along the middle as the car is too low - then on a heavily windy day my cover blew off so I threw it into the garage to dry off and a fookin mouse started to eat it havent seen the lil fooker since
oh well thats another 80 quid down the pan

R4N S S, the wing mirror pockets are VERY important IMO, otherwise on a clean/waxed car it is almost impossible for one prerson to get the car cover on, as it keeps wanting to slide off........needs with two people.
However, WITH the w/mirror pockets it becomes a one person job to get the cover on, as you start with one mirror, then do the other and the cover cannot slide off while you pull it over front then rear bumpers
Damn, I'm SAD for knowing this stuff

Dad has both an indoor and outdoor one of these made for his FRS and M Coupe. They're the same colour + have the logo's on. If Mikes using the same company to make them then I really can't recommend them enough, the quality + fit is SUPERB. Tip though, don't connect the under strap untill the exhaust has cooled down, it soon melts through!!
Rich I have a VERY interesting pic of Mike from the weekend at the Ring with a very strange use for a toothbrush!!
