Default Steering rack/column bushes

How much are they for a saff? And they easy to fit?

If they where shot would it cause the front end to feel a bit floaty?

tim finch has some group A rally ones in alloy on ebay at the moment

and yes - to tell if they are fooked, get someone to rock the steering and you look at the rack for any movement

the column bush is 3 quid from ford and takes about 20 mins to do - its a piece of pish - but you gotta do it a couple of times before it becomes easy,

the rack bushes litrally go thru the rack and the bolts that hold the rack to the cross member go thru the middle of the bushes

If you're after the rubber bush that has 4 rivets thru it,connects the column to the rack....it's about £75!
It sits just below the turbo and perishes very quickly, you can't just buy the bush,it comes complete with the connecting rod etc.

If thats not what you're thinking off then ignore this....
