Hello Passionford....
My name is Mariangelo and I am the proud owner of a Sierra/Sapphire Cosworth (the rwd of course
).Here are some pictures for you to see:

Yes I know the engine bay needs a good clean-up

The car is fairly standard, chipped, Remus exhaust system and 4x4 rear brakes and bonnet. Also has KONI adjustables all around (lowered 40mm). Output....250bhp
I hope you like it...

Welcome to passionford, I don't like red cars generally, but always wanted one of the red sapphires (only seen one up for sale). How long have you had that car? Has a few bits been 'borrowed' off the body, or was that particular car (shell) a cosworth originally or were all the foreign cossies like that? (Thought the battery, and obviously the steering wheel on the wrong side! lol)

thnx for the comments guys...
Car is a LHD so maybe that's the reason of some differences (like the battery). It is in Greece right now (more of a holiday car than a daily daily run-around),although I consider bringing it here in the future!
Concerning the colour,I have seen another one in Greece (dont know whether 4x4 or 2wd) so I guess that they have done quite a few for Europe too?
Had the car for the past year, I know sideskirts are missing but I am not gonna pretend to be an expert in the field so any comments and observations are more than welcome guys!!!!

nice car, 4x4 cossie, wrong bumpers, wrong grill, no 4x4 badges on wings, rad doesnt look right, cossies usually have twin fans, but more than likly those are due to it being built for another country like you say, it looks nice tho I think red does suit a saff

Gra the car is RWD, just has 4x4 bonnet and brakes...
It was actually a dual fan rad but know it's triple!!!!I added another one to help keep the temp down in the hot summer weather. In the picture you actually see the third one (activated only when temp goes up)

Nice car. That would be my ideal, radiant red cossie. Instead I had a rosso red (almost pink) hatch and a crystal saph.
The insert on the bumper is chrome by the look of it and the same with the door strips which was the same as my hatch. The rear bumper strip looks like an old XR4x4 one as some of those were quite big. Also looks like late spec badging and trim but early spec wheels.
Sorry to highjack but a bit of a daft question to anyone on here, how can you tell a 4x4 from the engine bay if the top has been repainted on the engine?
