why get shitty about not getting a reply when not everyone has the technical data, the information about the material used, the LLoyds specification for the materials, and the heat range in which you are expecting expansion?

and in which direction? thickness, or diameter?

negligible amounts i would think. why do you need to know? clearance issues?

nick thanks for the reply

yes clearance issues with the ford calliper carrier that we had to modify, dont want to be goin round croft for the rotors to expand that much they fook the brakes up !

cheers.................matt

well, as i recall, all materials used have to be at a certain Lloyds specification and the heat buildup from braking should not have an affect if they are made properly using pukka materials - i'd say 0.1mm tops width and a negliable amount for diameter

what size rotors have you got on there? the expansion will obviously be a percentage of the starting size, but i can't imagine it being more than Graceland suggests. being in the rail industry, he probably knows a lot more about it than me.
