the grille is a fiberglass copy and imho is SHIT, only reason the std grille isnt back on is that its got a huge crack in it...

i'm not gonna bother getting that grille painted, that one's going in the bin n being replaced by a genuine item...

bonnet needs 2 dents pulling out and a full respray (pics dont show up the scratches) should hopefully have that done in a few months (money's tight at the moment n i cant justify spending money on bodywork really...)

next is the new bumper... dunno if i should bung on another 4i one or bite the bullet n get a cossie one, but the cossie one will be $$$$$ and the 4i one pennies (if i get a cossie one im gonna have to get all the rest of the bodykit painted too!)

What you need now, is a cossie bodykit, and paint it rover hurricane grey, to match the original 4i stuff. Looks nice. Saw one in Fast?Perf? Ford years ago. Had a cossie lump too. Looked class!

rab, i dont wanna use cossie sideskirts as it'll mean all the holes in the doors n stuff will need filling n respray etc.

would only consider it if i was goin for a respray on the car...

altho TBH i dont want it to look like just another cossie replica with the 4lite shell, so i fancy keeping the std sideskirts n stuff on her.

however the 4i front bumper is SOOOO ugly it's just begging to be replaced with a cossie one!

milky, tell me about it! it cost me 60quid to do 400 MOTORWAY miles the other day! (to collect the bonnet infact ) there's something deffo not right with the engine, needs a good fault finding n setup session to get it running tip top... i'd expect to see about 400 miles to a tank instead of 250 (motorway)

costing me an arm n a leg to get to work n back... about 20quid a week? and i only have a 5 mies round trip journey per day!

ran, the headlights sit fine, its the grille that dont fit :P doesnt help by the fact that the driverside wing is 0.5cm from where it should be after the smack but the grille still fits shite...

You should be able to pick up a standard 3dr bumper cheaper than Ł200-Ł300 mate.I sold a front bumper and rear whaletail for Ł250 last year.I agree with wot your think though.Get the front bumper and leave rest alone and just paint the bumper to match the rest.
