Raining and loads of power in a mk2 is fooking scary.....
Power slides in the wet at about 130mph is not somert you can do with a hangover LOL....
Pulled the limiter in 4th gear in half a mile yesterday before getting caught out in the rain..
Who needs 1.25 miles LOL.......

Dingy, with that final drive ratio my calculator is showing your top speed as 108.4 MPH Best to delete this post before any Madettes see it........
otherwise it will turn to 4 or 5 pages of arguements

Plus the fact the ASS dyno is TM for dingy enterprises and doesn't use taxi's

Very interesting argument this.MADROD on oneside very pleased with whatever he has acheived and RICHARDPON speaking as a type of union leader by saying noone cares.This can only mean one word in my book JEALOUSY.I hope that doesnt offend,but looking from an outsiders view it looks quite apparent.

I just can't understand this savage enthusiasm for the cossie top speed - it's not like when Mike and Bruce went and did it on the same day. At the moment, Rod's only competing with himself.
To be honest, I just think most non-MAD sufferers are just bored of hearing the incesant whining. There is such a thing as being gracious in victory.
Phil - I can assure you, I'm not jealous in the slightest. To me, a road car that can do 200mph in the UK is one of the most pointless creations ever. I can appreciate just how quick it is, and it would certainly appear to be a fine piece of engineering, but I'm far more interested in racing round circuits than top speeding at Brunters. To me, it's cool in a "I can appreciate it, but I'm not bothered about owning it" sort of way.

I have several track days in july and august and i have no interest in doing straight like stuff as it would cost too much money - I would need a pit crew, a 5 star hotel, 3 hookers, 2 tuners, marquee, stella on tap....you see i just can't do it.

that gear oil I told ya about works fine!
done about 500 mile over the weekend no probs the missus complained that she couldnt sleep on the way home but I think that was down to driving style more that the noise of the box
