as said getting rarer, were very valuable once, then became bargains for barge enthusiasts, defo worth the plunge if u can get it for a little less than that as much as I hate Mercs

2.3s for whatever reason are around £1,5 -> 5K.

2.5s are near the top of that. Evo2 with the wing are £20K IIRC

with 130k its worth over double what you looking at, very underated car

thats if its in real good condition, i sold a lowish miler one last year with only 2 owners for £4300 , mint ones go for roughly the same money as mint sapphs

It's not our favorite YB in those. It's a worked over Merc lump iirc. About 200bhp and normally aspirated .

Don't know of anybody who would/could have put the Merc motor into a Ford. Or why they would want to.

DOO there not actually called cosworth btw, just that cosworht sorted the head for em

nice cars but be carefull going down hill and making sharp left hand turns on funny camber roads if racing fiestas

when i had mine it was totally unmolested clean example i remember it was badged as Mercedes 190 2.5 Cosworth

cosworth done more than sort the head BTW , also the 2.3 and 2.5 are a very different engine

as far as im aware the head was what they done same as vauxhall
