Default sierra xr4x4

my brother has just gotten a mongoose system for his sierra its the 2.9 model. he said that there are sensors screwed into the original down pipes but there arent any holes in the mongoose down pipes is that normal or will he have to get s/s nuts welded into the new down pipes

thanks any help would be great

If his car was originally a cat equipped one then he will have to get the bosses welded in.

I assume it's a '91 model?

My '89 an '90 ones don't have the bosses.

Llamda sensor or whatever it's called, think so anyway??? Anyway unless your car is 93 on you don't need a cat... I think it's 93 anyway

aye lamda sensor, you do need em in there. shouldnt cost much to get em put in, couple o quid
