Is it essential to use an alt drop bracket with a T4?
As title really, is an alt drop bracket needed when using a T4 turbo?

YES ! The alternator melts otherwise , been there done that !

Sorry to post-crash, but Paul / Spadge - how much does an RS500 air intake go for, and do either of you have one?

On Ebay upwards of 50 quid but have seen them make over a ton!
Very hard to source but you may be lucky at a show perhaps?

Don't forget you have to cut the lug off the bottom of the block in order for the drop bracket to fit

That depends on intercooler and boost pipes used brom, my 4x4 with a behr RS500 intercooler and metal boost pipe required a drop bracket to be fitted

on early 4x4s yes ya can fit drop braket but poly v u just got to stick with it
