happens a lot with kenwoods i have had a few do it mine was the mask type and it was the ribbon thingy between face and radio, and the other one i had was the connections between face and radio

ive heard that about the ribbon too, be a delicate job to fix but doable i'd say

I do those on a daily basis...
If your Kenwood mask has a big red warning triangle behind the face off panel.. then its the expensive one
If you want me to do it let me know.. I keep the ribbons in stock

As mine needs doing
Imported Kenwood CD Headunit.
Can give you the model number if needed

Think thats a standard ribbon cable on that.. will charge Ł30 ish to do it, inc the cable...
(Where I work it costs over Ł60... )

might be worn rollers that take the cd in... or a loose solder joint somewhere, difficult to say without looking at it...

If you mean the Blue remote key then yes, but we have to send them away to be done, they supply new coded keys, but I think a proof of purchase is required for this service..

Chairman, cheeRS, what it does i think its been a whil since iused it, is u put a cd in, doesnt read it like its a dvd uve stuck in an the radio goes on, cant mind if it spits the cd bk out. bah will need to get it sorted one day. . or jus buy a new one
