Default Right...Runabout / 2nd Car

Right, sick and tired of the old shitter escort daily runner, dont get me wrong, it runs.....just and has NEVER let me down once

Just sick of all the little things and need something more comfortable and newer to use for work etc.

I want a diesel, the escort is a 1400CVH petrol, does about 330 to a tank, which imo aint bad really! considering it runs like a sacker!

Question is, what to buy, I don't have much spare cash, but might have some soon, been looking at 306's, mondeo's, and love the drive of the focus But bit too pricey really

What has everyone got, and what you suggest I look for? got say £1500 to £2k max I guess....

450 on a tank for an Escort TD?

M8 only used to get 250!

It did have a snap-on chest in the boot and it was thrashed to fook everywhere though!

He replaced it with an E36 325i (without the tool chest) and got better mpg

I love it when people put 'right' infront of every sentence like they're telling people what to do - funny.
