Default American Car Show

My mate has got a Ford Lightning and is looking at getting a new one, but would like to go to a show to see what is out there.

Does anyone know if there is one?

thanks

I doubt there is a show specific to Ford Lightnings but you might catch the odd one here and there.... I dont think there is even a Uk owners club. Tell him to import one himself as he'll save a packet.

"How can i find out what day it is?"

Ring Dick Turpin?

Trucks have 22% Import duty plus vat, unlike cars which have 10% plus vat.
Importing is not quite as cheap as it seems.

True, importing isnt as cheap as it used to be, since the Lightning was pulled from the model list for future years prices have begun to creep back up in the States, a year or so ago you could pick up a year old model for $22k or so but now they're up to $26-$27k

Prices here are coming down due to fuel prices, looked at a 2004 un reg model last week for Ł21995 + vat, still expensive but one hell of a lot less hassle

If you use the correct importer then it 'is' as cheap as it seems!!!!.
