Strut brace your 50% correct, i've ran 1.78 60ft on your tyres 
the 1.60's where on drag radials 
I'm sure it could go quicker as it ran those figure with everything I could throw at it at the time.

Mines actually different to terry's as mine is custom made to my own dimensions to get the correct instant center of ther car, this was taking into account its been run with drag radials and NOT slicks

running 3.92 lsd diff, 032R soft compound yoko tyres 205/50 r 15 at 20 psi pressure
3000 rpm side step the clutch at the same time flooring it
