Default Insurance quotes - Escort Cos owners!!!

Right looking into buying an Escort Cossie, couple in mind so have been looking into the insurance side of it...................................

Its like banging your head against a wall, i'm 28, have 3 point SP10, live in an OK area................And they still want best part of a grand.

I cannot believe i'm closing in on the 30 bracket & they're still trying to charge me that for a stg 1 esc

Who do other escort owners use, anyone in the same bracket or even younger have any hints etc.

Cheers

Jason

yes but it will be limited milage etc, you dont have to use your NCB for it either..
you will have to have another main car though as the classic policy is classed as a second car.
ideal if you dont use it everyday
My cab is on a classic policy with HIC £480 IIRC

Paul was that on the company policy though?? It aint going to happen at this rate......i don't see why i should be paying a grand for an esc with grey hair!!

i pay £1030 fully comp with protected no claims on a stage 3 cossie with all mods declared - alloys, suspension etc. (est val 15K) I just turned 25 , 6 yrs no claims, no convictions but 1 non fault accident.

That was with Greenlight, they were about 500 quid cheaper than anywhere else !!!, plus now have a second car with them and they have knocked the equivalent no claims off that too !!
