Gold, i.e a gold chain or a gold bracelet.....I know people that have spent like a grand on a braclet and can't see why tbh, up to £500 I can understand (my fella just bought one so i gotta say that )...so got me thinking what is a reasonable amount to spend on a chain/braclet etc

Yeah but if you think it looks toss, then NOTHING is all you would want to spend on it.

Only jewellery i have ever spent thousands on for a girl is an engagement ring.

I did see a chain a couple of year back that i liked that was priced at just under £2k.

I have just ordered a chain at £150 because its descreetish and i like the design on the links, and TBH i am still reeling thinking it too much

Not into them chunky linked mortace lock looking things though, absolulty hideous

What's not a lot pmsl

If I sat and added up all my gold in total, as in what I could get for it all, I'b prob be hitting roughly the £2k mark.....

But I like it even though, I was re-named Mrs T

Still wear it every now and then not all the time though, scared of it being ragged off my neck

Why ruin something that looks great to begin with by bolting on tat to it?

Its all 24ct gold too
dont ya mean 22ct as 24 pure and toooooo soft, all indian gold is 22ct and very orange

the gold all us english peeps sport from elizabeth duke is 9ct, actually only made of 37.5% gold so its not really gold, in some places ya cant even sell it as gold too

my bracelet cost just over 800 discounted but weighs 137 grams and my chains aint large but are all 18ct, also all 8 ( but i only wore a max of 3 on each finger ) cost a few quid, think the keeper cost me 120 quid, the boxing glove the same or maybe more and the diamond one cost over 300 specially made

ive also got 3 other bracelets smaller that cost 200 quid each, one a id bracelet and the other is a tiny version of the big one

i did used to like me gold but now due to wear i live ect i dont usually wear it as some people will do anything to get a few quid

I've got a very very thin gold chain that I wear, but it has sentimental reasons for me wearing it - you can hardly ever see it when I wear it.

I also have one gold ring, bought for me by my parents, but it's in the safe, and is purely just there for the value.

Anyone who actively displays big gold chains is the absolute essence of chavness.

Sorry Ginge mate, but that is about as pikey as it gets!

What if you show erm 6 or 7 gold chains??!!!

Sod it I don't care what people think I luv my gold, only thing that does bother me is when i'm walking somewhere with it on and people cross over, then I feel like a chav

Some of you lot are fucking crazy

Im not into chavvy gold bracelets etc... wouldnt pay more that £200 for a chain/bracelet for myself.

My good watch was £490 though... which i now wish i never paid, good watch, but no better than the one i wear mostly, that cost me about a tenner from a looky looky man on holioday

OI chip, who you calling a fag!

I've got a braclet which my fiancee bought me........Which i dont leave the house without & a gold necklace with a crucifx (because i'm a catho!)

& RichPON i aint no chav either..........'Wheres the keys to me NOVA LUV'

And also have a half sovereign which my granddad bought me (RIP)

Think its all down to individual taste IMHO, my missus cannot stand gold so everything i have to buy here is either silver( ) or Platinium( )
